Hi, I have 2 problems , i think, 1. My Eurovox box is locked . The green light on the front of the box is green . 2. The remote control has stopped working. Batteries have been changed but it does not allow me to use the remote. I can change channels manually at the box but not with using the remote control . Am i unable to se the remote because the lock display on the box is green ?? thanks
with your phone put it on camera mode and look at the top of the remote were u can see the bulb look through screen of phone press the buttons on remote if u dont see a bright light u no your remote is not working or some buttons anyway
WWmicky,i have experienced a simpler problem with the remote at times,check that a button on the remote is not still pushed down,if so release it and then it should work,this worked for me. hope this helps
I have the same problem. I was using the remote and then all of a sudden it just stopped working and I noticed the lock light was on. I have tried the camera trick and i can see a red light through the phone screen however, when I press a button it does not brighten. Does this mean my remote is broken or is there another problem??? I have a eurovox max 2006 if this helps
is your box a clone or genuine and can you change the channels manually?look in here for comparisons genuine or clone?
Looking at the pics I think my box is a clone and I can change the channels manually. The remote does work from time to time for about a minute but i have to press the button repeatedly for about 30 secs for it to register on the box and then it will stop working again. Any Ideas???? Thanks
Sounds like the remote is faulty, if you know someone else with an EV you could try their remote to verify. Then you will know if you need a replacement.
Looks like I will have to buy a replacement and see if it works. Thanks for your help and ill let you know if i need anymore help.
