eurovox max staying in standby mode please help

    hi
    am very new to this have written this few times but dont know where i posted it. i have a eurovox max 08 and i turned it off on thursday when all the rumurs were going around. but when i turned it back on today it wont go out of standby mode, could someone please help me

    You shouldn't have mentioned virus,people wont answer you can you access the menu

    sorry kids wanting to watch telly so i am going between normal n** and the eurovox. yes all options come up on the menu but saying no signal

    go to menu installation user installation and what does it show?

    its showing frequency 291.00 mhz symbol rate 6.887 mbaud modulator qam64

    ok has it 13 tps going from 291 to 403? if so press the red button update chanells

    have you tried turning it of at the wall wait a min and back on.If your trying to update your channels use the auto update then see how you get on

    yeah press it, if it dosn't work you may have to do a factory reset which is menu-config-clear data-symbol rate 6887-ok wait till it finishes then start from scratch menu installation-user installation-power scan-mode normal-freq start291 freq stop-403 symbol rate 6887 step8 press ok wait till it finds 13 tps then t should find all the channells,have to go i'll look in later to see how you got on.
