Yes there have been reports of this in some areas. Although to get over this if you download your channel dump from your EV before flashing then flash with the new update. After flashing then upload your original channel dump it will solve this problem. Seems the new firmware scans tps just out of range on some providers/areas.

Menu, installation, user installation and follow the on screen button guide to edit frequencies. Then do an autoscan.

nah i think they will do better than 36-0
must also say that the Oct upgrade is much better, i just wish that when you pres pause that this could be held in a buffer/HDD so that you would not miss anything but hey never mind
thanks to everyone that have helped me by the way

    Hi Scouser
Got Eurovoxmax V 2008 this week from Iwantabox.com.
    Downloaded UFL_Max_V_KURO_15_10_07 from Iwantabox.
Applied it to the box with null modem cable.
    Went on like a dream.
Connected box to cable system and tv
Started search for channels but it cant seem to find any.
I live on east coast Ireland, on C****S cable.
    What am I doing wrong?
The box only seems to want to find channels on T**W or N*L
Do I need a different symbol rate ?
    What is the “symbol rate”
Box is connected to the incoming cable at the window, no other splits, tees or other connections on the cable so shouldn’t be signal problem.
One other thing I noticed, the front of the box has “Digital Satellite Receiver” on it not Cable Receiver but is is scanning from 100MHz up to 800 and something, has to be a cable box ?
    Thanks

You will need digital in your area to get the channels

Have you got digital or analogue ?
