I tried many methods of getting them back but I had no luck. 1) Press menu, go into language settings, enter 1968 then enable emu, press 1968 again set codes to default and entering new codes. 2) Power scan on full and changing the frequency to 6.887 Please help none of the above works I am still getting a message no transponder >_<
HI dMAJ... i would be really greaful if you could tell me how to update the channels...i went to factory settings and have cleared the data and turned the full scan on...but still no channel comes up after tha as well... do i need to scan again...and how long do i need to wait...pls tell me the exact steps thanks
it depends on your service provider i am with virgin media which was once telewest. this is what i did 1) Press menu enter language settings 2) enter "1968" two extra options appears enable them both, then save and exit.(go back to where you would change the channel) 3) Press Menu again then "press the yellow button on the remote" this should bring up a menu which allows you to enter your provider id and codes which are Provider ID NTL 54 01 CHOR*S 5E 01 Ex C&W 5C 01 T/West 5A 01 LATEST CODES NTL UK: 00: 3d 2b df aa 51 c8 dd a0 01: E2 C9 74 0A 04 22 A6 12 C&W 00: 1F EE 87 F9 E3 FA 2A AB 01: 5B 36 AE 71 F5 21 D1 3D Telwest 00: AB 1E 05 EB C6 65 46 77 01: 51 6D 0F 08 41 BB D5 D8 4) Go to power search change the frequencies from = 290 to = 600 5) there is a default number i cant remember the name but its set to 6.957 or something similar leave it as it is but change the remaining three which are set to zero to 6.887 6) then set the power scan menu to "FULL" rather than "normal" then press ok hopefully this should help let me know there is quite alot of steps ^_^
Hi dmaj, thanx a lot for all your help. I tried all these steps and got my channels back. but they went off again. i tried today with new n*t codes for UK but no luck. now when i do power scan, it scans till 770 and tp.00 . but no channels come up even after putting in new codes. I tried all the steps exactly as you mentioned. could you pls guide me what else can i do. could you direct me a thread to manually update channels. thanks for ur help once again.
You can check this page: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/647037 I think the codes change every thursday not sure because i lost most of the channels on april 17th and i tried the codes posted on the april 18th on sunday and i got back the channels. i also check the secret menu once again and one of the menus that i set to "enable" went back to "disable" i enabled it again. then enter the codes and all the channels came back i didnt have to do a scan. Hope this helps let me know
The reason you are missing S*Y Sports and some other channels is because in the UK you need to do an auto scan from 200.000 to 800.000 and you are missing some transponders , hope this helps
can i just add dmaj you dont need to manually add codes now there is a fix out that does this for you! if you have a null modem cable and abit of guts then check my profile sig and follow the instructions. be sure to read the instruction b4 u go into the folders to ensure you are going into the right section! hope this helps!
All the info you need is in Eamo's Library , plus 1,000's of people downloaded from that site and its 100 % trustworthy
Thanks celtic71 and myksterx. I found out later that the frequencies range from about 150 to 650. I was checking earlier, few posts to update the box ^_^ look like you guys are psychic. I downloaded a update from this site: http://www.mediafire.com/?xynenwxvyjy (UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_18_04_08) Thanks again if i get some guts to update the firmware ill let you know.
