Hi Guys, i have browsed this forum for quite a while and it has helped me a lot.
I have a problem with my box and am now stuck.

It is a eurovox max v 2008 and it wont come back to life just get the two dots.

i have replaced the power board and also the c14 cap (supplied with JTAG from jtags4all)

i have jtagged it but still no joy i have tried all the .bin files for red blue and black box's still no luck.
every now and then the two dots dissapeer after a jtag and the box appears dead but i can still connect to it with the jtag
i have tried jkeys and skymax but although the jtag seems to work and connects erases and downloads the .bin fine it just wont come back to life.

i would be very greatfull for you advice.

    Thanks

    Gaz

make sure you use the correct TSOP.bin file when jtaging and then flash it with the latest firmware

    Hi Suse103

Thanks for the response; I think I have tried the correct TSOP.bin. The files I have are Black Max V Full Leicester Flash Dump 10-9-7.bin provided with the JTAG kit and also 2008TSOP.bin which I downloaded from sc0user on this forum. After the JTAG is successful I disconnect JTAG and power wait a few seconds and then power back up and I get the two : dots again. The box is not detected by DnUpMan (before the problem with : dots it used to connect no problem)
Then in desperation i tried other TSOP.bin files but I have had no luck.

I would be very great full if you have any more advice as I don’t want to bin it.

    Thanks
