EuroVox Max V 2008 - Not getting MENU

Got 2008 from http://www.iwantabox.com, flashed it with
UFL_Max_V_KURO_15_10_07.exe and was successful up to this point.

I plugged telly into TV/VCR connection and Cable from N*L Box into ANT connection on EuroVox.

When I turn on telly, all channels are exactly same, the Remote Control can put EuroVox into "standby" mode, but thats it ...

Display says time in "standby" , and 0000 or 0001 when "ON"

Any ideas whats wrong ?????

 

You need to put the scart from Eurov0x to TV and the cable from N*L in RF socket

Thanks for quick reply, am using Co-Ax cables at moment from telly to EuroVox, should I get SCART instead ??

Plugged Cable from N*L Box into RF IN Connection, but only had poorer signal, no menu.


N*L Box - EV RF In == 75 Ohm Co-AX

Telly - EV TV/VCR Box == 75 Ohm Co-AX

 

Yes you should use scart lead

Put in SCART, and got MENU ..

Just havin, two problems ....

1. Put in PIN of 1004, selected 2 for N*L, and ran a full scan on Box. It took 10 mins, and came back with 37 channels, most SKY Mvs, EuroNews in 6 different languages, QVC, Disney etc...; how do I get rest..

2. Normal channels have become snowy, Channel 4 gone, do I need to get new cables ...

Ran full scan again, some stats :

Started at 100Mhz , and progress was up to 0/770.

First channel to be picked up was CNBC (291MHz), last channel was EuroNews RUSSIA (379MHz), I now have 59 Channels, including terrestrial RTE1,2 etc .... , and reception is cool on all of them.

Also have 11 radio channels.

Any ideas how to get more .

 

N*L the symbol rate 6887, and you only scan from 290 to 402, All channels are between those freq.

To add freq go to menu,installation,user installation and use the on button guide to add frequencies.

Just try 394000 and 402000 and see you do gain more channels

 

Things are definitely moving forward,

Added Channels 394.000 and 402.000 and channels went up to 78 !!!

All channels on EV MAX 2008 freq. now are:

291.000
323.000
339.000
347.000
379.000

394.000
402.000

If you delete the duplicate channels how many did you end up getting
