Can anyone help, i'm experiencing jumpy screen and crackling volume, i have tried adjusting my frecency and have also tried re-booting my system. Some of my channels are ok but Setanta seems to be the worst. Would appreciate any help.

First - Make sure that all connections are tight and secure, cable feed and TV connections Scart/s and that they are good quality that is one obvious cause. If after doing that you still have trouble then you may need to do a Factory Default and re-scan, or if it is affecting just the odd channel then a manual scan should suffice on the affected frequency.

Depends what you mean when you say an adaptor? I think you might be talking about an attenuator, to help smooth the signal out, what is the signal level on the affected channels?

on setanta the worst affected channel the level and quality are sitting at between 80% and 83%

Well I find anything in excess of 80% does tend to pixelate a little, but that is my own experience/opinion you could try an attenuator 6dB or 10db please yourself really, about a quid in maplins, it may sort it for you, worth at ry for that layout. But first make sure that you have not got the signal booster option on in TV Settings - then again you could try it with it on and try it with it off, see if there is any improvement, you never know! when you put it to on/off (blue button to save) you then need to turn the box to standby and back on again for it to take effect.
