Hi i wonder iff somone can help i have had my eurovox max v for just over a year now its usually fine but of recent especially since i upgraded to 10mb bband vrg*n i have started haveing sound chirping and freezing probs on many channels inc FTA i have the latest firmware on my box not the 8% boost one the one just before that.I have noticed that almost always iff i turn off the pc modem completly while having these probs the freezing ceases.So i know what the prob is but have no idea what to do as i need my pc on constantly to dload stuff the sig is run off a splitter.I should mention i have tried various boosters even expensive ones to no avail.ANy help would be much appreciated and thankyou in advance.
Not around for long tonight but have you tried turning on the internal signal booster on your EV? Edit: also what is your signal strength with it on and then off, Press info twice to see.
yes i did try this doesnt really help like i said the only thing tht helps is when i switch modem off.channels clear up instantly.
