Had a eurovox that was dead. Got one of the capacitors changed, had it j-tagged and had it re flashed. Now when its connected up, it will power up alright but thats it! it just stays on channel 1(with a blue screen) and both the remote and box controls are totally unresponsive. infact the only thing you can do is switch it on and off. nothing else happens. Sorry to waffle but Im trying to give the best description possible! Any ideas??

Have you tried tuning in the TV and box via the UHF RF rather than the scart. It works for blue clones maybe you have a similar problem.

But it sounds like you got someone else to fix it for you. If you paid them to do so then ask them to sort it for you.

Yeah an pc tech from work fixed it for me. He's fixed loads of different types of boxes and never has any trouble(just my luck). He never charges but we allways sort him out. Ive opened up the box and pressed the reset now Ive got an E169 code

Have you tried tuning it as said, you will see how to go about doing so here failing that its back to your repair guy and you will have to buy him more drink :)

Almost forgot tell him he is a good guy for not charging :)

I'll give it a try. Do you think that has anything to do with it not changing channels?
