eurovox max v set up problems

i have just got hold of a eurovox max v,set it up,and its all good.but the picture starts to pixulate after a min or so.ive checked all leads,removed splitter but still the same prob.has anyone got any ideas as im gonna throw it thru the window very shortley.look forward to any replys.thanks.
