Hi guys I'm in need of some advice if at all possible.
Currently when i install my EMV everything seemed fine but after around 5-10 mins i seem to loose all the channels. The signal starts off at around 80% then gradually starts to drop to around 8% as you can see thats a significant amount lost.
at first because the picture was naffing up i tried altering the frequencey a lil bit with no joy. Then i bought an attenuator a varible one from 0-20db no luck.I had the enginner out to look at my line which they said it was all ok even refitted the cable and altered something in the box.And still pretty much the same.So the only thing i can think of is a TV amplifier.does anyone here reccomend any paticular one?

    TIA
Also before anyone says I'd like to point out that there isnt anything wrong with the box as it works perfectly here but when its at my dads thats when it starts.Even scanning it will only find around 17 Tp's.
On the ther other hand my box has around 40 channels that dont work due to similar problems with all the other channels intact.I tried the Attenuator with also no joy.So only think i can think of again is a TV amplifier.

Yes it is a signal issue so , are you trying it from a splitter or the main incoming feed ?

    Hi wazzabee,
I noticed that there was new firmware released on the 28/04/08 to solve the 8% prob.
might be worth looking into, there`s a thread on this forum about it sorry don`t have the link, hope this also helps.
