    is there any new updates available for the max v because i am loosing channels and if i scan the box again i still dont have the channel, it is just a black screen. i do have 99% of the channels but some of them which i did have i no longer can get?

    any help much appreciated.

    i am in the uk, in the north west. last time i did a firmware update on my box was in december 2008 when everyone had a problem. is there any new updates i can download to my box?

    Thats the latest one for your box,see if you can get the frequencies for the channels your missing and do a manual scan.

    Looks like your firmware is up to date.
    VM have added new transponders last week and have been moving channels to them since, you need to do a deep scan to pick up the new transponders. You will get some duplicate channels but you should get everything back, also some will need renaming and you will lose any favourite groups but that's a small price to pay.
    To do a deep scan....Menu, Installation, Deep scan, Enter pin (0000, or 1004), enter symbol rate(6.952 for L'pool area), if you scan between 100-700 MHz you should pick up all the new transponders.
    The scan can take up to 2 hours so be patient, it is the only way to pick up the new transponders though.
