eurovox max v

    My father has just received his eurovox max V, can he use this on a satalite reciever or is it just for cable?
    Do I need to download software before he can use it or can he just plug and play
    Please help

    Suitable only for cable!! and yes you need to download hardware.

    press menu-config-system info and tell us what it says as it may have come preloaded with firmware.

    I have done everything it says on the thread, im now and have been waiting an hour for the codes to update on sky sports. Is this too long to wait? so I cant check waht firmware I have at the moment sorry

    why can't you check? and yes an hour is to long if you can't do as as i ask then i cant help you.

    Right Ive turned it off and on again and it is still saying waiting for code update. It is model > dvb-xc box v tda< s/w ver 1.0 stc4 oct 15 2007< H/W ver 2.0TK5< Bootstrap v 001< S/W Build KURO

    you will need to update your firmware, the firmware on the box is not autorolling any more you will need thsi firmware on your box http://www.4shared.com/account/file/44834422/de5f6c04/UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_18_04_08.html if you have any problems look in the eurovox help link under my pic.
