use the 18/04 firmware and see if it helps, plus you will need to scan from 290-420(i take it your in Ireland)as the frequencies have changed.

cheers for getting back KARLJD, i have tried that firmware+ the 8% signal one. i have always done the 290000---400000 freq. i am baffled because all other boxes work but there is no signal being picked up. scart is ok, rf in is ok. firmware is loading. is there a default on the eurovox as the starview has one . cheers jhaye2x

Have you tried loading a CDF from one of the working boxes or cloning from one working box to this one?

i will have to get my hands on a black eurovox, but i dont think it will work. late last night i tried it again with all firmware, the low signal came in with 39 stations,so why does the kuro 18-4-2008 not work if the low signal works. jhaye2x

jhaye2x have done a manual scan ,brought in 60 stations but most of them are crackling saying no signal --code being updated---no signal. i have heard that they where having trouble with the eurovox max. i cant figure out why this is happening as all other boxes i do are perfect.

Well if all the other boxes are the same and where scanned from the same location. The tuner may be faulty or other hardware problems with this one. I would advise you to send it back for a replacement if that is the case.
