    HEY when i go on sky 1 or 3 a sign comes up sayin servic unknown it also does this on some other channels how do i fix this??? plz help thanks

    I pressume you are in the UK....
    you wont get sly 1,2,or 3 over there!!

    no i have been getting sky sports 1 and 3 but for some reason a sign has come up service unknow.. They have been working for a month do u know wherr i can get the latest firmware for eurovox max v 2008 aswell thanks

    You didn't say s*y sports, you said s*y one, which is not available in england because of the row between s*y and vm.

    Also look in Des's sig for the firmware.

    I cant see why you cant get the sly sports channels..if you need the latest firmware, click the 2nd line under my sig and you will find it!

    no i have the latest firmware, also first when i went on sky sports 1 and 3 it said service unkown but after i did a power scan sky sports 1 and 3 had gone..

    Where abouts are you and who was your provider previous to VM, eg TW N*L ect.

    Try this,
    Menu> Config>Clear Data> ok enter 0000 as your pin, then ok on Factory default, wait for it to finish ,

    Then press Menu along to installation, Press ok type 0000.

    Now press powerscan "the Yellow button",

    a box will then load like this

    Enter the information as is above then apart from start at 100 finish at 700 then click ok to scan and wait for the result,
