    karljd.
I'm not with NTHell or Ch@rus,i'm trying to pick up the NTHell MMDS that's in my area.I bought an MMDS Aerial with downconverter and power supply from the UK.They told me that it would pick NTHell in Ireland.I'm based near Gort,Galway.Do you know of anyone that has tried to do this before ???.They are lots of NTHell aerial's in the house's around me and I know the general direction that the signal is comming from,it is a matter of positioning the aerial until signal strength on the box goes green during the scan ????

    karljd,
I changed the aerial cable to the RF input and did a re-scan,got same result '' No transponder to scan ''Can you ask you friend what this message means ??? I think/hope that it means that i haven't found the correct MMDS signal ( line of sight / direction )Any help would be great.
    Thanks,
    John

Yes I have it all set up, when you say powerinsertor i take that you mean the 18v power supply that goes to downconverter ???

Yes havent used one from satandcable, I see it has dual voltage powerinsertor, but unsure of the downconvertor. Does the antennae have polarity markings on it?

If you know you neighbours quite well you could ask them can you try the EV in their house off their MMDS set up and this will tell you if the box works. Then we can look at the anennae set up
