Hiya Folks, Wonder if anyone can help me, I bought one of the above and when I plug it in I can't get any channels at all. It keeps saying 'no signal', but I am able to move up and down stations. My connections should all be correct, and unlike the Starbox, 1570 doesn't seem to get me in to an alternative menu. I was told I need to scan in the channels, but I don't know how to do this. Can anyone help?? Sorry, I know it's probably a duffus answer!! Thanks
Where are you located and who is your provider. I presume you have a live connection on cable and you have the coax cabke in the cable in aocket on the back of the EV?
Hi Scouser, Thanks for getting back to me!!! I'm in Dublin, with NTL Chorus, but unfortunately not much of the other stuff makes much sense to me. I used to have a Starbox in my old house, and I've connected this one up exactly the same way...? Sorry, I'm a bit useless with these things..... Thanks for your help
I presume you are on N** cable and not MMDS, (aerial on your roof). Press menu, config and system info and post what it says please. Make sure you have the N** cable in the cable in socket on the back of the box.
As said above can you tell me what firmware you are using by doing as I said. Also need to know if you are in a N** or Ch**us cable area, yes I know they are now under one name now, but I still need to know. Where in Dublin are you?
