hi there does this fix the euro-vox max it is not the 2008 but i am unsure what the red and blue box are as i have not heard of these boxes many thanks

 

2008 model is a black box. red and blue boxes have a grey front panel.

Need some info please as to which firmware to download for this box.
I don't know if it's a Red or Blue.
It is a grey box with silver panel on the front and when the cover is flipped down the button backs are a siver colour, so I am assuming the box is real and not a clone.

This is the information I have on it.

Got it working putting the codes in manually.

Judging by the software on it already its a 2006 blue box. You need the blue box software.

Have you any idea what box this is, It belongs to my m8 and looks a bit older.
It doesn't have the flip down part at the front, has eurovox.tv written on it and is all silver, the remote is a bit different also.

I noticed a thread yesterday that esco123 had posted, he had a link to a photo of the same box, can't find it anymore, been through the forum and can't see it.
He said he got his to work but never mentioned how.

I'm pretty sure my box is an original and not a clone but can't find anything on this other box to verify what this is and don't like to add new firmware and bugger it up altogether.

Got it working using the same codes as my box so I am assuming that it's the same as mine, just older model.

Appreciate the help.

 

Does this mean that there is hope for the rest of us with different boxes?? Hope so!!! Ive got a Nokia Dbox.

Hi all,

I downloaded this a few days ago but NThell hadn't changed the code until today. My box did not autoroll like it used to but i did a new scan. I did not key in any new codes - i selected "FAST INSTALL" and the chanels came back but unfortunately, not in the same order. It's only a minor inconvenience as i have my order saved on the PC.

Is there anyone else who has encountered this? I realise this is beta firmware so i expected a few niggles, and i've no problem finding new codes if needs be but, everyone else who has the new firmware has said they have autorolled no problem and i'm just puzzled why mine did not.

FYI, i'm on NTHell Dublin North West - Near Blanchardstown.

Yes, Did it all as stated on the readme - gonna try and reload firmware and do it again. I'm sure we'll know for sure tomorrow during the inevitable code change for the Chelsea match.

no it doesn't work with Cho**s in Dublin

I tried the new firmware and it fuc**ed up my box where I cant even get any channels because my signal wont go over 8% even when I reflashed it back to an earlier firmware

Guys - the software at CA's site is tested direct from the manufacturer & UK Code teams. It's the most up to date I know off and works for (obviously check which coloured box you have first)

Eurovox V (5th series) Black units - regardless of where you are these are the fixes for the genuine Eurovox.

Only heard a tiny number of cases where using the genuine software, correctly to a genuine box would cause a problem. The problem appears to be either user unfamiliarity with the s/ware, incorrect blue/red identification (want to know how - go to - there's the instant way to tell there and other handy stuff I found) Lastly - some boxes may have previously been JTag'd (with or without the current owner knowing) - if you think the box is corrupt after upgrading - then a clean JTAG should get it back. Get a decent JTAG kit though

NOKIA & SAGEM DBOX's are fixed (the problem with the ROM 7 key has been sorted - at least in the meantime - and ROM 7/10/11 fixed packages for FTPing into your /var/keys can be easily found)

i can confirm that the new kuro3 10-4-08 firmware will not autoroll on black 2008 boxes on c****s. Hopefully there will be a fix on the way
