Eurovox or Starview???

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to digital receivers and only have a small amount of knowlege based on some of the items I found on ebay! From what i can gather there are 2 main boxes; Eurovox and Starview! I also know there are several different versions of each, i.e "The Box" and Eurovox 2007 etc...

Can some one please advise me on which one i should choose and give advantages and disadvantages of each.

The features i am looking for are:

1. Updates automatically (as i couldn't be bothered putting in codes)
2. Decent software (Nice User interface and menus)
3. EPG working
4. Extras like autodetect, teletext etc.. would be nice!

If anyone has had both of these boxes please tell me your experience.

Also please tell me if there is an alternative i haven't heard of.

starview box will do ur head in looking 4 codes.get the other one.galway user

 

im in galway too, have 2 eurovox the blue one, works perfect updates codes itself, get that one..

 

For a newbie with a small amout of knowledge , you know more than I do and I own a SV months lol

 

i have both boxes i would say the eurovox red 2007 is better than the starview less hassle . hope that helps you
