Check or change your scart lead and see if that helps

you could try getting any new software and see if that works.
i would try tweaking your frequencies for the offending channel group.
if say a frequency is 568.000, try altering it to 568.050, see how it goes, if picture/sound is better but not quite right then increase frequency higher.
if it gets worse try going lower, start at 567.000 and alter slightly higher.
    good luck.

Make sure your incoming cable is connected to the RF IN socket at the back of the EV

let me know what model you have and I can direct you to the correct update

    Hi.

Started having problems with my picture/sound breaking up from last night onwards (happens more so on certain channels).

Tried numerous power scans but no joy, definately not the box as I have tried another box on my connection and it is doing the same thing.

Up until today I have been working it through a signal booster and it has been fine for months.

It is unwatchable, any ideas ??

    cheers

    and ideas ?

i think i am experiencing the same problem. The Eurovox (Red box) works fine 70% of the time. However every now and again the picture (and sound) skips/breaks as though the signal is weak. This "interference" is really frustrating.

Someone mentioned a signal booster. Where would i get this from and what/where would i plug this into?

Could something else be causing this? Anyone else having the same probs?

Problem may be either a too weak OR too strong a signal. But first check all your connections are sound, including your splitter if you use on.

Better off getting a variable booster with slope control. This way you can manually attenuate the signal for best results. You will find one here http://www.beststuff.co.uk/konig_amp-pro30.htm

cheers scouser (u a red or blue?)

someone also suggested to by better conducting plugs ie from http://www.beststuff.co.uk/coaxial_accessories.htm

Surely if the picture is fine alot of the time then it cant be the connections cos im thinking if i have a loose or weak connection then itd be flickering/jumping 100% of the time right?
