Eurovox Powerscan

    Looking for help from scOuser (seems your the kiddy)
    Trying to help a friend out.
    Loaded new auto update software Eurovox Blue Box 21/04/2008
    But now when we powerscan it kicks out of scanning before doing full scan.
    Showing channel unavailable on Screen (with 0000 in display)

    can you help please???

    Try a factory reset. Menu, config, clear data, factory settings, press OK. Turn off for a minute. Then back on and do another powerscan at 6887, if you are sure you are on N**. If unsure use 6952 as a symbol rate, but do try 6887 first. Although I am sure its 6887.

    Make sure you carry out the scan directly from the incoming feed and that the coax is in the Cable In RF socket on the back of the box.

    Have tried all of this without turning box off, so will try again when I'm home

    Hello ScOuser,
    If this fails, would a channel data transfer work???

    Should do as long as you have one for your area and provider.

    Good Morning ScOuser,
    I'm up and running, my mistake one of the boxes was original and one a clone, lucky I didn't burn it out as it would have cost me. Thanks for taking the time to advise me
