eurovox problems

    hi all
    i am completely new to this, at the moment i have ntl basic + digital + sky sports.
    i got a eurovox max 2007 yesterday and i decided to try it out before cancelling my ntl digital and sports, i tried full scan and it found nothing now the box is frozen with 0000 on it, i am reading about things like flashing and new software but i know nothing about it so i would be grateful for any help you guys could give me
