eurovox problems

I fear the eurovox days are coming to an end.
I have had eurovox's for over 3 years now.
They do not work at my home anymore.
The old N*L boxes with the chipped cards still work at my home.
My eurovox's work fine elsewhere but not at my home.
Now I am hearing more and more stories of no signal on the eurovox.
I get 84% signal on Eurovox, I have fitted cable boosters, but still no signal or breaking signals.
About 20% of my friends are all have problems with eurovox.
Have N*L finaly cracked the their problem or can we get our boxes working again?
I regurlarly update the fixes and regurlarly do full power scans and channel updates.

 

So none of the channels work at all? where are you, what symbol rate did you scan on, which version of eurovox is it and what does it say in system info.

I have had a red, black and now a PRV all work great everywhere else.
Tried a booster and breaking up un-watchable.

I have fitted many of these boxes,The last 6 months or so they have stopped working at my home.
N*L boxes work great at my home

Have you tried an attentuator? your signal strength seems fine but boardering on the high side, if it is either too high or fluctuating it will give you the same problems as if you had a week signal.

Try a variable attenuator, not forced to work but worth a try.

Cable booster work differently to attenuators, anyway it's up to you.

hi, Hope i'm in the right thread.......my eurovox ain't working, every station is gone, bar ORte 1 and SSportsXtra.
Can anyone suggest anything.....box was flashed about 7-8 months ago with the right firmware, and with no problems since....Update it regularly...

Any ideas or is the end nigh????

 

pview49 exact same problem here , I have not had to post here for a long long time now i'm back with my tail between my legs,

only got RTE all other channels saying "code being updated..."

Can find the forum i used to read , think it's been shut down by the mods

If your in Ireland you need to update your box with the UK Firmware.

Click on the eurovox flashing guide at the bottom of my post.

Same problem that hit the UK, so that is what you have to do.
