I have updated and scanned for channels - works fine. It has a 120gb harddrive in it that came with it - when I record from EPG and go to the pvr menu I cant play it, when I try it just gives a blank screen and wont play. There is no preview of the recording available. If I timeshift, the recording is there but then doesnt work again after a while. Sometimes the recordings just dissapear aswell. Anyone hve any ideas for me? I am new to this and only gotthe box for xmas - its great but just wish I could actually record something properly !
it sounds like somethings wrong with the hard disk although it could be the firmware. try a different hard disk if you get your hands on one just to see.
I assume I will prob just have to send the hard drive back and hopefully get it changed - just to be sure, what is the latest firmware available - the only thing I have updated it with is UFL_EX5000_Autosort_DarX_01-12-08.
