I have got WD scorpio 160GB for my PVR ex5000 and formatted it in NTFS. When I insert it in to my box, the box won't even start.

Should i leave the HDD raw?? or what format should it be formated in?

In some threads i see that it doesn't support drives larger than 120GB...

    any recommendations appreciated...

I was stumped at first when I got my pvr5000 on how to format my 120gb HD.In the end I inserted the HD and I think it formats it when you turn on the pvr as the display shows the crcle going round. It was quick.I then done a recording and its been fine since..So I suggest putting your Hd in the pvr raw.Hope this helps

i have tried to delete file format, i have even created partition smaller that 120 GB and still the same issue persists...

i insert the HDD in the eurovox, switch it on, I can hear that the HDD is spinning and then there is only this ---- on display, but it won't switch on
