Has anyone any idea when the next firmware is released to solve many of the problems which people or having with the Eurovox PVR.
Problems: every few weeks the box locks up and i have to power off and on again(then do the time +1 hour fix again) Sound go's out of sync after fast forward and some times the whole recorded program is out of sync and no amount of rewinding and pausing will get it right.
Yes i am on 1.1a I'd say i have to reset it once a month (power off and on plus do the time fix) The sound also goes out of sync at the end of long moives
what hard drive are you using eg: wd, seagate ?? im on wd 120g and have not had a problem with it at all so far !!

It's no big deal, i can live with it .. I just posted because jjspine seemed to think it works perfectly with 1.1a firmware. I'd be happy to see a new firmware to fix the sound delay
No need to apologise, it is me who is a fault, I was reading another post and cross referenced yours mistakenly. I will edit my post above. BTW they are aware of theses issues and hopefully a remedy will come soon. They are classed as minor bugs, so I wouldnt hold my breath Usually a factory reset, then a reflash helps to some point.
