Eurovox PVR - reception problem

    I'm experiencing bad reception for a lot of the channels on my Eurovox PVR box... i live in Dublin 6 and most of the movie channels are unwatchable as the picture flickers so much. Any advise on what i should do? Do i need to re-download the software?

    Which firmware version are you using? Also check all your connections.

    I'm using UFL_ex5000_15-07-08. Is there more up-to-date firmware?

    I tried re-downloading the same firmware (i.e. I'm using UFL_ex5000_15-07-08)and used the symbol rate 6.887 but still get flickering picture on particularly the movie channels....lots of the other channels are fine e.g. RTE1, Sky Sports 1... but maybe 30% of channels flicker? Any ideas how to overcome this?
