The two box,s i have if they are left in standby for more than 8 hours or overnight i have to turn the box,s off at the wall or switch them off and on at the switch , I have used firmware 1.1a , I have noticed that a few users of these box,s are having the same problem , Hope you can throw some light on the subject

Yeah I had the same problem even with the HDD that came with the box, try turning the box off then take out the HD then turning back on, leave it for 5 mins turn it off then plug it back in see if that helps,

If that doesn't work leave the HDD out over night then put it back in the next day, another thing why dont you turn the box off at the mains or switch on a night time?
I can understand it being a pain if you in Ireland due to the epg time issue but if in the UK why not just turn it off, as a last resort contact your supplier and get a replacement.
