Eurovox query

My cousions box has gone of like many others and I am just wonderin which eurovox he has. It is a black one and says Eurovox Max. I am wondering which software is the correct one for this type of box.

please somebody help, tried updating my max v box with new firmware and only getting 0000 on display can anyone help.

was it pic 2 at the top of the page?and if so what firmware did you put on it?

 

thanks i have tried downloading about 3 different types in desperation, such a novice with these things, i used the 2.0 version then the 2.10 and now tried the 1.00 i think. my box is the max v black

 

we need to be certain its the black max v 2008, so heres another pic,if this is your box you will need to try and reflash with THIS FIRMWARE

 

thats the box but the writing under the channel display on mine says max V . i bought the box in january ish, does that help thanks again

 

its a max v alright,it could be a clone but as there is no clone safe firmware for your box ,you have no option but to try another download

 

god damn so should i just try the red and blue firmware ???

 

no i gave you link to the new firmware but maybe you should try the april fix,it will mean having to input c@des manually though.

 

i don't mind doing that, but i would need those things you refered to at the end, any idea how to get them ;-)

 

thats another story you'd be ok if there wasn't another roll,but all you need is someone with an updated box eurovox starview etc and they can sort you out

 

ok tried the old firmware but getting nothing either standby or 0000 on the display, think i've shagged 'literaly' what can i do now can't enter the menu or anything ???

 

have to go,first check the c14 cap and see if its damaged in any way ie bulged or leaking if its ok, keep trying to flash it may take a few go's,if that dosn't work it would be worth a go replacing the c14 cap (16v)and if that s no good then its down the jtag road.

Have you even done a powerscan after flashing the box, I didn't see you mention it above?

You will see 0000 after the flash until you have tuned in the channels.
