Eurovox remote control problem

Hi,

Got a problem and was looking for some advice.

Basically my remote controls for my eurovox max v works intermittently.

I managed last night to manually update the codes and got the box working, however the remote would only work when you were holding it rightin front of the box.

Today it doesnt work at all!

Anybody have any hints on what the problem could be?

have you tried turning the eurovox off for a couple of minutes then turning it back on? perhaps it is confused and needs a restart

 

Yes tried that aswell, its strange cause it was working then just stopped

 

do a power cycle.........

 

Probably a daft question but whats a power cycle? how do you do this?
