Hi All, On Ch**us in North Dublin, and earlier today, but especially since Aston Villa match, the picture / sound keeps breaking up. I notice the signal is constantly skipping between 85% - 81%, normally I get 84%, so am guessing its just the quality of service from Ch**us is crap as usual. Anyone else having similar problems? There is so many firmware versions out there, just want to make sure I am using right one: Updated to the latest firmware (file named UFL_MAX_V_Autosort_5_12_08.zip) at start of December. This was great until signal was breaking today. Then I noticed the Xmas Eve versions so downloaded and installed UFL_MAX_V_30_11_08.exe which was uploaded 24th December. The issue still exists, but I notice the signal booster is no longer an option. Is this fix only for the 8% problem? I never had this issue, so dont want to be using it if this firmware is specific for that problem. Also, when i check the version in Menu - Config, it says its Apr 18th??? Can someone confirm which version I should be using for Max V 2008. Thanks.
The date in system info for the Max V doesn't change when flashed with the newer firmware so as long as your s is updating then the firmware you have installed is fine, also you only use the 8% signal firmware if your have a 8% signal problem which you aren't so best left alone As for the channel break up, if it was fine after the flash for a while and it has only just started breaking up give it time as they maybe some kind of of problem at your suppliers end.
Thanks.....so if it doesnt have the signal booster, means its the 8% issues one? so best to swap back to the last firmware?
