Hi all, sorry if this point has been answered elsewhere, but my question is this - suppose you have NTHell Digital in a downstairs room, complete with NTHell digital box, and a basic NTHell TV point in an upstairs room (there since before you upgraded to digital downstairs). Presumably that TV point just gives an analogue signal of the basic TV package - but if you run that signal through a Eurovox, Starview or whatever, will you at least then get a digital-quality signal on whatever channels it still works on?
The signals all the one, all NTL gave you when you ordered Digital is a set top box. so to answer your question yes, better off using a Kryptview though if your in Ireland
So if you had NTL Basic, pre-digital, coming through a box stuck to the wall, and that's still what you're getting, with no set-top box, is it an analogue or digital signal you're getting?
Some of Ashbourne and greystones are on analogue, even ntl/chorus cannot supply their houses with digital
