eurovox stuck on stanby

    hi i have the eurovox red about two years.i turned it on today and its just stuck on standby i had a look through the threads on this and didnt really find anything it said check the capacitors inside which i done and there all fine.can anybody help

    your power board has probably blown a capacitor.if you open up the box you will see a yellow substance on the board beside the capacitor.you will need to replace the board.

    you could always try and reflash it.

    i tried flashing it but it doesnt detect the box

    If its saying something like "waiting for the responce of your reciever", then more than likely it needs to be jtagged.

    i have eurovox max v my query is about the time display it is showing 1 hour behind i know there is post on here somewhere about this as i had same trouble before but i cannot find it now if someone can point me in right directions or help me fix it would be v appreciated thanks

    It may need a Jtag as Noel said but just to rule something out try a hard boot reset.

    unplug the EV, hit download on the Loader, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in again. It may take a few attempts.

    Edit apologies scouser/Noel may have missed something there :)

    No bother mate but once that comes up its usually the bootloader that has gone ;) Microbutton reset and hardboot doesnt seem to work either although worth a crack.
