EuroVOX System Reset problem

Hi all, Just purchased a EuroVOX MaxV, plugged it in via the null modem cable (R232) and powered up, downloaded UFL_Max_V_KURO_15_10_07.exe - clicked the Download button it states the Version 2.10 detected, so I click START and it just hangs on System reset. I've also tried the UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_18_04_08.exe that somebody else suggested but it fails on "No available com port" But the com port works fine as I've plugged a mouse into it.
I've tried on 2 other PCs but still no joy. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

 

18/04/08 is the correct firmware for a MaxV, are you sure you have the correct NULL modem cable?

 

Hi, thanks for the reply. I've managed to get it working now, but there's quite a few channels that say "Please wait, downloading codes..." Any idea how to get round this? Thanks

 

Put S*y Sports on and let it update

 

I've left it running trying to update but it just fails...I'll try with teh S*y Sports and let you know, thanks

 

Did you use the 18/04/08 firmw@re ?

 

I used the UFL_Max_V_KURO_15_10_07.exe

 

Thats an old file , you need to use the lastest firmw@re for it to update for you

Thanks very much for your help guys. I downloaded and falshed it with the latest firmw@re and it's working tip top. How do I get the @dult channels?

 

Depends on where you are located and what provider you use ?

You should get them after doing a scan on your provider
