Just heard some bad news for eurovox DVB-C owners,....the eurovox boys in korea have tried & failed to come up with an N2 fix that works on their range of boxes, ah well at least some boxes are now coping with the change.

I was reluctant to pass on this info as breaking news like this can sometimes lead to a flood of abuse but I thought shag it, it's from a very reliable source,UK based,...don't ask who or where I got the info from but it's not good for me either.

If they wanted to fix eurovox/Starview/Digivox they could(same people do all the starview fixes and SV4 got a fix??? so that leaves 1,2 and 3 out there with nothing)
Fact is only newer boxes(still on sale) are going to get a fix

Thats annoying to say the least, thought the Eurovox was going to be one of the best supported in this N2/3 rollout, they seemed to have a good product line and be one of the main brands. I find it hard to beleive they won't find a fix considering the money involved if they can continue selling their products but I'll take your comments at face value as if a box was well supported a fix would have been released by now.

    Are eurovox's still being made?
as the only recent model still in high stock is the EX7000 HD

I'd like to know where lenny123 heard that becuase if the manufacture have a huge stock and wanted it fixed, they could make it happen no problem, others have

Eurovox have more problems than just an encryption one at the moment.

I would have recomended the EV in the past over other boxes, once again the information states "THE OFFICIAL EUROVOX GUYS CAN'T DO IT THEY TRIED" but as we know there are 1 or 2 indendent coders out there who tinker with these boxes as well so maybe they might do the trick,...who knows.

It can be done Lenny look at the processors and compare Eurovox ones with fixed ones ;) They probably cannot get the keysets but thats easily remedied if they wanted them they know how to get them by hook or by crook ;)

I am surprised one of the particular guys cannot do it going by what I have seen from him before and thats official :)

Hi Scouser would like your opinion if you dnt mind. As with all my eurovox max v is starting to go (newcastle area vrg*n, pleez dnt laugh at our sad demise!). Do you think its worth waiting, possibly in vain for a fix, or jump on the kryptview which some others are pushing ??

Hi the UK is fine all you need to do is a factory reset and powerscan again as some TPs have moved.
