eurovox tx password problems

trying to do rescan but cant get into menu forgot password tryed oooo and 1004 but still cant get into menu any help how to get into memu thanks

 

Im not too sure about TX but try 1968

No sorry other than completely wiping the tsop with a jtag and rewriting it. What way are you entering the password?

 

lost channels on mmds so i said i would do a rescan but when i go to menu its asking for password all thats working is rte 1 all channels there but wont open them dont no how to by pass the password or whats gone wrong was hopeing if master code did not work that there would be software to send it back to virgin state so i could reload it thanks for your help dont no what to do next

 

You must be in the Kildare area am I right. Honestly press menu and type 1969 on remote and that will get you in. BTW all you need to do is a rescan and it should be fine no need for a factory reset.

 

yes am in kildare put in code again still no joy just keeps comeing up password and 4 queston marks enter it and they come up again

 

Can you not just go into installation and rescan?

 

i would if i could but to do that i have to get into menu dont i ? thats where it asking for password cant go into anything

 

Relax my friend, patience is sometimes a virtue. Why is it asking for a pin for just the menu have you tried the obvious 0000.

 

i wish i new dont understand why it asking for password just to get into menu it has not done this before yes tried 0000 and 1234 and 1968 and 1969 i did not think it should ask for password but it is that why i was seeing is there software to reboot it back to factory setting and maybe that would sort it dont know if thats possible thanks

 

Thats what I mean everyone else uses 1969 on the TX as the master code and I have not heard it requiring one just to get into the menu, last attempt try 1004, otherwise dont know what to say short of a reflash and even then that is a last resort.
