    Hi
I recently received a Eurovox TX series receiver (for ch***s mmds in Munster)
I cannot find any software to flash it.

In Eamos at the end of my post. Look in the Eurovox folder, then the TX folder. You will find both the loader and the 23/11/07 firmware.

Ok I apologise for lack of knowledge but I am having trouble flashing the box. I downloaded the .bin and .exe files. Then I ran the .exe file and selected the firmware tab and browsed for the .bin file and inserted it. Then clicked "execution". After a few seconds it comes up "flash failed". The display on the box did not change.
Can you once again bail me out? I have never done anything like this before so your help is greatly appreciated.

Not quite sure of the name of it but it's a 9-pin female-female cable. Is this enough detail?

I got it from a friend. But since you just cast such doubt over my cable I decided to get my own and "Download Complete" just appeared!
Thanks very much. I really appreciate your help.
    Regards,
    Nahag

Ease of use Eurovox TX, The Box T, Digivox T. You could also look at a Dreambox T but not exactly plug and play.

    Hi again!
Thanks agian for your help last week.
I tried to install the Eurovox TX box I was asking about last week but it doesn't seem to have "unscrambled" all the channels, I can only see the basic channels. Is there a code or some kind of update I need to apply once I have installed it?
    Any help would be appreciated,
    Thanks,
    Nahag

I don't know off hand. You see I'm installing it in my in-laws house (hence the pressure to get it done!!) and they have no internet there.
So I have to go back out there and try it every time...pain in the @ss really! Do you have any ideas what might be wrong? I know its a lot to ask of you when I cant even answer your question but it will be a day or 2 before I can get back out there and find that out.
What can I tell you other than I set it up, then used the auto-scan, it found 118 channels but only unlocked the standard available channels.
I don't know if anyone else had this problem or not...anyway any help would be great,
    Thanks again,
    Nahag

Just leave it on sky sports and let it sit, it will decode eventually.

No problem quite understandable. When you get back there make sure it says 231107 in system info. Also make sure ant power is on. If its still not updating just power it off and back on again.

    EDIT: Hi SG ;)

    Hi again!
I checked the system info and it had something like TX_23_11_07 which I presume is right? Antenna power was on. I really don't know much about these boxes and this is my first time installing one so I'm pretty lost!
    Anymore help!?
    Thanks,
    Nahag
