hi all remote not working on my box,seems to have mind of its own,works for while then stops, drivin me mad. thanks for any help.
Check to make sure non of the buttons are sticking down, also when it stops working point it at a a digital camera as if you going to take a picture of the LED sensor and press the button on the remote, looking through the camera LCD if you remote works the LED will flash repeatedly, this will rule out that it is down to your remote and not your box.
thanks for help/ checked buttons and seem fine , tried camera and remote led flashing ok,channels changing perfect at box,also if i power off box and power up again remote works fine..for a while.
If rebooting the box brings the remote back to life then I would say a problem with your box, you could try a factory default and rescan and if that doesn't work maybe try a reflash and see if that cures the problem.
