As I own both of these boxes I will do a pro and cons. and before anyone starts as it been gone over loads of times. Eurovox Ultra is not linked with Eurovox Max. I dont even think Eurovox Max isnt link to Eurovox too. ULTRA. Pros - Good price especially on ebay at the moment. Its small, There are lots of images available for it digitalwolrdz, brute force etc as this box uses the same images as Dreambox DM500c, works on itgate. I find the box good and stable. If using the new digitalworldz image it has a NTL ireland transponder scan which I am told is very good. easy to set up plug and play. Cons - Not found any yet. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Max. Pro - nice looking box, can find good prices on internet 109 the cheapest I have found. good support. easy to set up plug and play. Cons - lots of fake boxes so you could end up downloading a new image and it killing your box. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Both boxes are good to be honest they both do the same job and get the same channels. The only think I would say look out for are the fake Eurovox Max box as this is really the only down.
The eurovox ultra is a clone of the Dreambox 500c with different front on box ..everything else is the same .Please note the images will not work on Itgate boxes as they require their own image and have much stronger tuners resulting in much more stable box with better pic and sound quality .
