could someone help me please because i have the old eurovox V.2 its a sliver box and i really need a software update or something that will help, thank you Aki
Don't think you will find any firmware for that box around here as there is nothing in eamo's library, did you try a google search?
Not so long since found it myself Karl, Firmware, http://www.4shared.com/file/47317204/32ddc1d1/EV2_FIX_140408.html Loader, http://www.4shared.com/file/25134276/e7df7311/DnUpMan_DVBC_FAV8_20060314.html Courtesty of sunrise Edit & eamos of course.
Thanks Karl As before only just found it myself, Had a mate bring one round last week which needed some attention. Worked fine after the flash.
Download the 2 links above and save them to your PC. 1 First of all open the DnUpMan < this is the Loader looks like this, 2, Click on Browse in the Firmware section and select the Firmware which you downloaded first and saved to your PC. Once you have selected the Firmware with your PC plugged into your Box select Download, a box will then load like this and it will start searching for Ports, Make sure you have it looking at the correct port/com set in device manager otherwise it wont recognise your box. 3, Once it has found your ports click START, This will then load the Firmware to you box. Good luck!
It was about this problem, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/700291 Keep seeing the same problem on AD and wondered if its a fault due to the PVR or the Firmware, My PVR does the same, If I leave it on standby all night it needs turning off at the mains for it to come out of standby, not a problem for me being in the uk but for ireland could prove to be a pain due to the epg issue. Cheers mate.
I haven't seen that before, strange alright. May be firmware related alright but put it this way they are getting a lot more out of a similar processor so it could also be hardware related. I can pass the info on and see where it goes from there Regards the EPG in Ireland its stream related and would need an EPG patch similar to the EPG fix brought out for the older Max models over a year and a bit ago. We came up with a manual work around so it was put on the back burner I suppose, as the bigger market, (the U.K.), was never affected
Cheers Sc0user, everything new has teething problems I suppose, little price to pay considering what you get. Im going to try taking the HD out tonight and leave on stanby overnight to see if it starts ok in the morning, I dont know if this will help to narrow down whats at fault. Goodnight.
