Eurovox v-max 2008 clone

    Ive ended up with two cloned Eurovox v-max 2008 ,they have the latest Kuro software installed and i cannot get them to tune in (PEAA ERROR CODE ON FRONT DISPLAY)
    My question is can the firmware be rolled back.?
    Ive tried a factory reset to no avail,any advice is greatly welcomed.

    Can see you were being avoided LOL (by me also),

    Try reflashing it with a earlier firmware, (not Kuro) see if it wakes it up. firmware is in eamos linked in my sig.

    Haha,ive allready got two genuine max-v's i bought the clones for my brother.
    I have tried to install earlier firmware but nothing seems to happen (the newer Kuro set up menu is stil being displayed,advance install etc)
    I was wondering whether you could reset the memory like you do on a pc motherboard.?

    Im going to try a few things today and i will report back with any outcomes.

    Quick update,the clone box's will not flash.
    Ive opened up a clone and a genuine box,the genuine box has a reset button on the psu board the clone doesnt (it does have the space in place for it) could i solder a reset button onto the board?

    I await some answers.......lol

    Sorry Im a little lost now, thought you had 2 clones?

    I thought they were both displaying PEAA and they both had the latest kuro software installed.
    Also what is stoping you powerscanning if you can get into the menu?????

    Really lost mate to where your at which is probably why you havn't had a reply.

    Sorry for the confusion,i have two clones and two genuine boxes.
    When i power scan the clones the PEAA messege appears after they start scanning( about 10 seconds in).
    I can access all the menus etc,when i switch them on they have 0000 on the front panel and display channel unavailable on the screen.

    i hope this clears a few things up.

    Have you tried a CDF for your area. In my sig you will see a link to the channel dump files have a look in there to see if theres one for you also look in eamos. If you cant see one reply back with your location and provider preivous to VM.

    I made a cdf. file from my genuine box and uploaded it to the clone box's.

    .
    .
    .
    .
    They are both now working 100%,HiTeck your a genius m8.

    how do you upload the cdf file onto a clone box, looks like i've got one , tried to scan it and getting the PEAA error message.

    Have you got any Kuro software?
    Have you got a null modem cable?
    Have you got a cdf file for your area.?

    I have tried the Kuro software
    I have a null modem cable
    I have got a cdf file for the area.
    It just keeps coming up PEAA on the front

    Even when you try and download the cdf?
