Hi, Does anyone have any ideas about the following problem: I've a Eurovox V flashed with the latest software and I could be using it perfectly for several weeks as long as the mains is always connected. However, if the mains get disconnected and I reconnect the power the red light comes on, the green lights begin a clockwise circle, then all the lights go off and the sequence starts again and keeps repeating. Nothing appears on the TV screen. I normally have to disc the power and reconnect perhaps a dozen times and then it will boot normally and I can use it perfectly until the next time the power goes out. Happened yesterday and I've done my dozen disconnect and reconnecting the power but the boot hasn't been successful yet. Any ideas? Thank a mill. Tom
Where did you get the Firmware from? Download the new firmware again from the eurovox flashing guide linked under my sig and flash the box again, Do a factory default after the flash! follow the guide.
I got the software from your site. It won't even allow me to flash the box. When I plug in the mains - the red standy light and the green lights come on, the green lights do an anti-clockwise circle and then they all go off. If I leave the mains in the process just repeats itself and there's no response to the remote or the pc if I have the cable attached.
It finally worked a month ago after 20 restarts and worked as normal for a few weeks - I was careful to not plug out the power but my flatmate tripped the fuse box at the weekend and I'm back in square one again. Tis driving me mad!!
Cheers - is it possible/easy enough to do this yourself? There are security seals on the box so I don't want to break them if I have to return the box anyway...... Tom
