EUROVOX WEST MIDLANDS NOT WORKING

AS of yesterday my eurovox vmax does not seem to be working on virginmedia in the wolverhampton area,a friend of mines box also became non functional at the same time,channels just say updating code,this continued for about 6 hours on both boxs,after doing a power scan the box does nt pick up any tp,but i know there where previously 37 tp,could they have changed symbol rate or codes etc,any clues as to what might be going on would be much appreciated,Thanks
