just bought a eurovoxex5000pvr installed firmware got all the channels but it keeps crackling makeing noises wont keep picture

 

Are you sure the cable is properly plugged in and not loose.

Also are you using any splitters from the main feed as this can cause picture to break up. When on a channel press info twice and tell me the percentage of level and quality.

 

hi thanks for geting back checked the cable thats fine the percentage rate is between 74 percent and 78 percent thanks for ur reply appreciated

 

Thats too low check all your connections as said above. Also try it from the direct feed.

 

hi i disconnected the computer and the splitter run a dircect line the percentage reading was jumping between 78























































hi i done away with the splitter which the computer was plugged into run a direct line percentage reading was between 78 percent and 81 percent box works great on my girlfriend line but not mine still the same cracling and frezzing would a booster b any good thanks

 

You could try one, but also check all your RF connections and cabling.

LOL it cant be that bad If you buy any box you will have the same issue as its a cable problem. So hang onto your box and try a booster.

thanks ill give it a go if it dosent least i can take it back my next door neighbour sa ntl i tried my box on her line same thing frezzing works great on my girlfriends line but she lives in a diffrent area but we do have a bad signal where i live if on my mobile phone but ntl runs on a underground line thought id have no problems i tried my old ntl box it works fine going 2 speak 2 someone who installs sky 2 nite perhapes he can help thanks
