Eurvox max V says No signel or updating or finding signal

    Well i have bassicly explained on the subject what my eurovox is doing i ave flashed it with various versions and still no luck theres nothing wrong with the incoming connection as i have nthell running as well and they are on a splitter and i have swapped cables round but no difference the nthell works fine tho ... so do you guys have any ideas at this point im going to fork out 120 for a star view which seems to be doing the job at the mo so please reply

    More info as in model type, locaton, provider and firmware version would help........and less of the red fonts it hurts my eyes ;)

    Its a Eurovox Max v 2008 if that makes any sense i live in bolton which is near manchester my provider is Virgin Media and firmware ver is UFL_MaxV_KUROv2_28_03_08_beta and sorry bout red writing lol...if u need more info tell me

    That particular firmware is only for boxes with signal problems. It will work but isnt recommended. Use the 18/04/08 firmware, do a factory reset and powerscan on symbol rate 6887 as I think your area may be ex N**, if no luck on that use 6952.

    You will find the firmware in Eamos at the end of my post.

    Its Still doing same im getting tired of it now not sure if its firmware or its the box as i know its not the incoming line ....... any other suggestions

    Make sure your cable is plugged into the RF IN Socket and not the antenna port.

    To check if your emulator is enabled. Press menu, press language settings, type 1968 on remote and check it.
    Also tune to S*y sports one as it updates much faster.
