EV PVR Problem recording

    I am using a EV PVR and the problem is whenever I start recording it locks all the channels and only 4 channels are available to view and I cant even go to the menu. Can anyone help me please?

    Model - DVB-XC EX5000 TDA
    S/W VER 1.0 ST4 JUL 15 2008
    H/W VER 2.0T KS +D
    BOOTSTRAP V001
    S/W BUILD KURO
