Hi, I have this strange problem that I cannot thus far find an answer to. I have modded over 30 xbox systems and never seen this. Problem is: I have soldered in an Xecuter 2.6CE into and Xbox version 1.6 mainboard. The chip is brand new, so it still has the cromwell bios on it. When I turn on the modchip and boot the box, the LED around the eject button flashes Green, Yellow, Green, Green, Green, Green, Green, Green. It doesnt frag at all (power on and off). It then shows a black screen with nothing on it, and the light stays Green. I have re-soldered the chip 3 times, checked all my traces with a meter, and even checked for solder splashes... Everything looks good. Also if I turn off the modchip, it boots the normal xbox bios and works fine. Additionally I have swapped the modchip with a working modded system, and it boots fine, so I know its not a bad modchip. Any ideas??? Really need some help on this one...

Yes, that is a bad chip or it does not even have cromwell bios on it.

Thats what I thought at first too, however, as I mentioned above, I actually swapped the modchip with a working one from my xbox that i use everyday, and it exhibited the exact same problem... any other ideas?
