every thing i have tried keeps giving me errors, help!!

ok i had the same prob with dvd shrink here on my pc too cylcle redundecy error couldnt read h drive

listen guys i am really trying everything here im just not haveing any luck with my dvd burners on my laptop or my pc i am very frusterated and confussed, i am sorry for all of the inconviences.i am brand new to this game and it isnt going well at all.

that i got done but after i clean it up using the fixvts, and then use the dvd shrink is where i get the problems i dont know what transcodeing is first and then when i did the same process on my laptop it gave me the cycle redundacey error cant read drive e ,,
now im on my pc and trying it there just got done with fixvts now am going to try dvd shrik again

 

ok it has done it again dvd shrink gets to about 15% and the gives me the error cycle redundecy error cant read h drive what do i do i have shrinkto5 how does that work compared to dvd shrink? i dont think i have a drive prb if its happens at the same point on both pc and laptop at 15% on both analizing areas

 

Is drive H where the files are located that you ripped from the disc?

 

thanks didnt think of that, to all of you who helped me thank you i know most of u think i am i moron, but just to let uall know alil about me
i am a us army vet and am heavily medicated, i have lost the use of my right leg, and the meds im am on do mess up my focus and thiking abilities so i really do thank you all, and no my files were not in the h drive they were in the dvdfab file somewhere else dialysis 1 thank you for pointing that out.

i am sorry to all and i will keep trying to get this done i will contact u all after i have tried to finish this one . also do i delete the files out of dvdfab after i burn them ??

Once you have a successful burn, you might want to make another copy so you don't have to go through all of this should something happen to your first backup.

 

ok i think i did something wrong. when using dvd shrink there is the little video feed u see when its going though the disk right ??

this one is all black no video feed that i can see and its 6% done.
any ideas

one more question for u all i did have 3 succesful burns but all i used was dvd shrink and dvd decrypter untill dvd shrink started given all those errors, why would it have worked ok for those 3 and start messing up after that ??

Probably because Shrink was able to handle those movies and could not handle the others. That's why DVDFab HD decrypter was recommended.

 

so would it be possible to try dvd shrink and dvd decrypter before haveing to go though dvdfab on everydisk of just keep doing it this way??

 

Using DvdFab is your best bet since neither DVDD or Shrink are updated to keep up with newer encryptions. That's why we recommended it.

 

At this point it's probably best to start with DVDFab. DVD Shrink hasn't been updated in a long time and it never will be updated. It still remains a very useful tool. DVDFab is constantly being updated.

I went to take a nap and see that quite a bit had been going on. One of the last things I can think of to suggest is running disk defragment and doing a disk check. A disk check may take a while, but it will help clear up any errors that it may find on your disk.

Also, don't multitask while using dvd shrink, as it's a power hog.
