Have you try regedit? Open RegEdit and find this key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\Scsi\Scsi Port 0 and set the DMAEnabled value to 1 enabled. Running IDE hard-drives, Scsi Port 0 is the Primary and Scsi Port 1 is the secondary. (edit) Looking at your log again. It seems to be enabled in the reg, or the hdd would not be dma on. You might try inside the properties of the dvd drive itself. I don't trust that brand dl disk's much. That's J.M.O.
