i recently download The Matrix (desc said it was a dvd rip) from kazaa. i converted it to mpg using tmpgenc, without messing with the settings (cept for setting what part of the movie i wanted to encode).

it burned ok for the most, but sometimes, the chracters leave pink shadows when they move. things also seem to turn pink for no apparent reason, then if there's no violent movement, the colors will revert to normal. what can i do?

Im afraid you cant post that here. You are actively participating in Copyright fraud which is not allowed on this site.

well besides this being a piracy thing here, there isnt a dvd rip of the matrix availible man, think about it!! u got a telesync copy so the colours are probably messed up anyway.

Just for the record another thing that causes that colour is the angelpotion codec!!
